Our adventure kicks off in Challis, ID, where we’ll head to the historic Custer Gold Mine area, delving into Idaho’s gold rush history. Exploring the area, we’ll travel alongside the picturesque Yankee Fork river, renowned for its scenic beauty. We’ll set up camp at a serene riverside location, enjoying a hearty dinner and relaxing around the campfire as night falls.

Day 2:

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Gold Dredge Museum to learn more about the region’s gold mining heritage. From there, we’ll continue our journey towards the Salmon River. We’ll set up camp nearby with the evening free to explore, savor dinner, and tell stories around the campfire.
