Yosemite Backwoods Expedition

Experience the untouched beauty of Yosemite’s backcountry on this 3-day adventure, starting just outside Groveland, CA. This journey takes you through the pristine Stanislaus National Forest, showcasing breathtaking views, majestic waterfalls, and serene campsites.

Day 1: Groveland to Scenic Waterfalls

We’ll kick off our adventure at 9 AM from Groveland, CA, traveling through the picturesque Stanislaus National Forest Along our first day we will explore along the beautiful creeks and ancient grounds where the Native’s ground their food in the rocks. After exploring these natural wonders, we’ll head to our campsite, nestled amidst towering trees and granite peaks. Enjoy a hearty dinner around the campfire, where we’ll share stories and soak in the tranquil ambiance of the forest.

Day 2: Discovering High Country Marvels

After breakfast, we’ll set out to explore high country surrounding Yosemite. Our route will feature panoramic viewpoints and secluded trails that offer sweeping vistas of the surrounding landscape. We’ll stop for lunch at a scenic location, surrounded by the rugged beauty of the high country. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our exploration, taking in the stunning scenery and remote landscapes. As evening approaches, we’ll set up camp at a spot with breathtaking views, where dinner will be served, and we’ll enjoy more campfire stories under the stars.

Day 3: Immersing in Secluded Wilderness

On our final day, we’ll pack up early to embark on a journey through some of  lesser-known areas. We’ll traverse trails that reveal the raw beauty of the backcountry, with opportunities for photography and quiet reflection. Lunch will be served in a serene location, allowing us to fully appreciate the tranquility of our surroundings. In the afternoon, we’ll make our way back to Groveland, CA, arriving by late afternoon. As we wrap up our adventure, we’ll part ways, each carrying memories of Yosemite’s breathtaking wilderness.

Note: This adventure requires a vehicle with a 200-mile fuel range. Please ensure you have enough fuel for the trip and carry extra if needed, as fuel stations are limited in the backcountry.

• This expedition is fully catered. We bring a gourmet flair to camp cooking, and you’ll be raving about the meals every day!
• Important Notice: This event requires a minimum of six vehicle registrations to proceed. If the minimum is not met, the event will be canceled. In such a case, participants will have the option to transfer their credit to another event or receive a full refund. Thank you for your understanding.
