What about food and beverage?

These trips are primarily deep in the back country, you’ll want to make sure you have enough food and water to last your entire trip before heading out on the trail.

What should I bring?

You will want to bring all of the necessities for surviving in the wilderness for 3-5 days. Enough food and water is extremely import. In the wilderness you may consume more than normal so keep that in mind. Other things to bring should be, camp chair, comfortable clothes, basic tools to work on your vehicle if any issues arise and your camera!

What if I get hurt on the trail?

We have an excellent safety record and are extremely safety conscious. We have some rules of the road we expect all participants to obey and we always work together as a team to help each other stay safe. The reality is that we’re exploring and camping far from any medical facilities and its part of the experience. All staff use 2-way radios & cell phones to keep in touch with each other. We encourage safe driving practices and support those who would like help with any situations.  All of these actions are taken to help ensure your safety. It’s only as dangerous as you make it.

Staff are medically trained and will address any situation as it arises. We also have satellite SOS capabilities for any serious injuries or medical issues.

What kind of weather can I expect on my Adventure?

The weather may change dramatically and quickly anywhere that you explore. You could begin a day driving in the snow and only a few hours later be driving on the beach. December through March are the most likely months for rain or snow. We never really know what the weather will be like until 5 – 7 days before each expedition. Pay attention to the weather before your trip and pack accordingly.

How much experience is needed?

Events are beginner friendly! We have years of experience teaching others best camp practices and safe off road driving skills! We support all experience levels to have fun and enjoy the trip! This is YOUR trip so make the best of it!

If you are tackling a route on your own or with some friends, we do not recommend trying to navigate through the wilderness as a beginner. if you have years of camping experience and enjoy the outdoors I’m sure you’ll be just fine.
